Harbord Village gives shout out to Kensington’s front line

On Saturday, April 25th, the Harbord Village Residents’ Association – a group made up of neighbours in the Kensington area – rallied dozens of people and marched down the street to our home, accompanied by the Toronto Police

Banging pots and pans in support of frontline workers, the group, led by bag-piper Gus Sinclair, stopped in front of both North and South long-term care buildings, serenading our teams and thanking them for their incredible service. All the whilekeeping at least 2m distance from each other.

“Standing there outside Kensington Gardens, surrounded by everyone who came out to support, was so touchingIt made me feel really supported by our neighbours. This has been a difficult few weeks,” said Susan Falcon, a registered nurse and nurse manager working on the front line.

On behalf of everyone at Kensington Health, thank you to Harbord Village Residents’ Association and our community partners! Your love and support help motivate us. We cannot do this without you.
